JOEZ is real. Take a look. Don't see more than a normal pullback as this company is taking off. Not just hype IMHO

unfortunately Avarice, you will be flagged as a pattern day trader. However you are allowed a one time exemption, just call your broker and tell them you want to use the one-time exemption and they will re-set your account. All of your buy orders counted as one trade, but your sell orders counted as 4 trades. You can break down your buy order into as many orders as you like, you just have to sell all in one order. Never break your sell orders into different lots on a same day trade. If you had held overnight, then you can sell the next day in different lots. The easiest way for you to keep track of daytrades are to mark them on a calendar, for example always start with today and count back 5 business days. Make sure you don't do more than 3 same day trades within the 5 days counting today. Each day count back 5 business days and that will tell you when you can place another daytrade. Hope this helps.

You get your first warning rookie.

Don't worry we've all done it before.

You jumped JOEZ too early, it's going to run for the rest of today. Wait till tues or wed.

AHHH! Rookie mistake! So I jumped in JOEZ this morning and being an idiot, I split the buying of shares into 4 chunks to avoid fees (still have free trades left with new acct but cannot be over 100 shares). And also sold all 4 seperately. I don't know if I'll be flagged for a Pattern Day Trader yet. If I am flagged what happens? Any advice beyond suck it up and pay the fees next time?

Tim have you done an article on 'Avoiding the PDT label'? If not can you do one to help many of us rookie traders avoid getting the label and dealing with the fallout?
