I won&#039;t give specific advice on Citi, but if Citi goes up and you are not in it, how would you feel?  If Citi goes down a bunch and you are in it, how would you feel?  Weigh the responses with the likelihood that you assign to each situation, and remember, Citi doing good may mean the market in general does good, and so being in an index fund or ETf may get you a good chunk of the Citi price increase without so much risk.
