Sure, my book An American Hedge Fund has gotten some pretty solid reviews from some pretty bigtime people, stuff like:
“A ‘Catcher in the Rye’ for traders…highly recommended if you want to be a trader.”
- Aaron C. Brown, Executive Director, Morgan Stanley, Author of ‘The Poker Face of Wall Street’
and
“It’s well written and I think most people that will endeavor to give it a read will get the approach and references.”
-CNBC host Tim Strazzini, Managing Director at Pali Capital and former Managing Director at Merrill Lynch where he was head of equities and derivatives for Global Wealth Management.
Actually over 200+ glowing reviews altogether now (which you can view HERE) but this latest one is something I’m very proud of. While certainly not long, it’s from Doug Kass, one of the world’s foremost short sellers, who now runs his own superior performing $200 million fund and before that has held a great many positions, most notably he was senior portfolio manager at Omega Advisors, a $4 billion investment partnership.
His review:
“I enjoyed your book this weekend!”
That’s right, short and sweet and to the point. To get people to enjoy reading a financial book while maybe learning a lesson or two—well, that was my goal. And yes, it’s fast paced so it only takes a few days to read…there’s far too many books in this niche whose usefulness is questionable–at best–but, more importantly, the enjoyment factor is almost uniformly missing.
So if you haven’t already, I hope you check it out and let me know what you think—remember, now there’s even an audio version available on iTunes!
