Why Tiger Woods Makes You Smile & Exemplifies The Beautiful Democracy Of Online Video

I was busy working on a dozen or so projects yesterday so unfortunately I missed seeing Tiger Woods’ US Open amazing comeback. Almost immediately, I wanted to see clips of the miraculous shots that were being blogged and written about far and wide…I went To ESPN.com–no updated video, just commentary…Yahoo! Sports, same…PGATOUR.com, same…USOPEN.com, guess.

Inevitably I turned to Youtube and found THIS great footage. Truly awe inspiring.

Pretty sad that I have to go to some guy’s camera filming his TV to get that footage…pretty sad there was no high-resolution clips for me to watch from ANY of the majors. Nearly 24 hours later and the majors still don’t have any easily-findable/perfectly-edited-not-wasting-my-time-with-other- crap-video)

I dunno, I’m not that into sports, so maybe there’s a premium service with quickly available hi-res footage, but I just can’t see how all important footage, and news coverage, won’t eventually be covered by random people who have no BS time delays in getting important stuff for all to see.

The guy who posted this, Joe Prah, just wanted to get it up ASAP because he knew there’d be demand for it…so he gets my linkage, not the major websites that failed to compete with this stay at home dad with 163 RSS feed readers. Good Job Joeyyy

Livestock: I was unable to watch it live and have only seen the first four hrs of the show, but thanks for taking us inside on how you look for a trade during the trading day. Thanks too for having fausto on the show. I sure wish I would have been on the live feed to ask him some questions. By the way that GFT sales guys has never made a trade in his life and i 100% guarantee that.

Thanks again and keep up the great work.

  2. There is a website that records most of all the popular television shows. If you know the date and time of what you want to see, just login, pick the tv network or show and press play. Its just that easy. I have used it before.
