What Paid Promotional Stock Mailers Actually Look Like
A few weeks ago, I found a great little message board that focuses specifically on the reporting of paid promotional stock mailers. Shady “companies”, shareholders and stock promoters pay services/professionals to send out hundreds of thousands, or millions (depending on their budget), these wholly absurd/inaccurate promotional pieces, that you gotta learn to love–not detest–cuz they’re dead giveaways of pump and dumps, which are perfect for PennyStocking profits!
Typically great stocks to sell short for quick drops off of multi-day spam-induced spikes and for the long-term, you gotta be careful cuz lately scummy spammer stocks like 4imprint Group plc (FOUR), FORCE ENERGY CORP (OTCBB:FORC) (FORC), Hybrid Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:HYBR) (HYBR), KENTUCKY USA ENERGY INC (OTCBB:KYUS) (KYUS), MAXLIFE FUND CORP (OTCBB:MXFD) (MXFD) and JAYHAWK ENERGY INC (OTCBB:JYHW) (JYHW) haven’t stayed down for very long…even if there’s a 99% certainty they’re destined to fail/have their stocks trade under 10 cents/share.

Broadwind Energy Inc. (BWEN) is a stock fools be tryin’ to scalp from the short side…it’s still in a strong uptrend, downside is a few bucks, but so is the upside, risk-reward sucks, fools stay on the sidelines!
Fieldpoint Petroleum Corporation (FPP) has even more fools tryin’ to get every last ounce of reversal from it, I hope this stock squeezes all your greedy naïve asses. You don’t short stocks 50% off their highs in a few days.

When I see emails and blog comments from people asking about random ass stocks like Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. (SIRI), Ford Motor Company (F) and China Finance Online Co. (ADR) (JRJC), I know I haven’t promoted my instructional DVD PennyStocking hard enough. I thought I was doing a good job, but it turns out I was wrong. Cuz if you had seen it, you’d know its central theme is to only trade worthy opportunities being a.) incredibly volatile stocks—think up 50-300% in a few days and b.) inefficient stocks—think spam stocks, message board/newsletter pumps…stuff like NTI…NEVER would I recommend playing large liquid companies that everyone and their mother has some opinion on. On those, you have no odds whatsoever, so it’s no wonder why so many traders lose money.
You’re overtrading.
Trust me, I know how addictive the kinds of profits you made on PDO, MXC, FPP, and ROYL can be, but now you gotta step back and realize those patterns are gone now. As I anticipated, traders of smallcaps—where there’s only a few truly worthy opportunities per week—need to be distracted/entertained the rest of the time….and that’s why I’ve already uploaded more funny/educational/wastes of time videos to TIMtv…Watch these anytime, but if you feel the need to profit and you rationalize trades by saying to yourself “let’s see how this goes” or “after all, trading is like gambling” or the worst “win some, lose some”, immediately go to TIMtv and stop trading! Your account will thank you…and remember LiveStock tomorrow at 1PM EST not so sharp!

Why You Can Buy My Short Picks Too aka My Northern Technologies International Corp (NTI) Trades
Exactly what the title says, just because I’m looking to short or even while I’m shorting a stock, that doesn’t mean you can’t profit–sometimes more–by going the opposite direction aka buying. That’s the beauty of PennyStocking, there’s so many ways to profit, it all depends on your personality and what you’re good at. Since I’m a cynical Jew who’s seen crap / been burned, short selling works better for me and yet the big money was made from the long side yesterday and today on Northern Technologies International Corp (NTI).
As I wrote in THIS post, this stock was up due to Superman being on fire…I could be wrong and their new subsidiary actually could be onto something, but again, my prospective is that all these companies are full of BS aka about as trustworthy as a pedophile priest. Not to mention that before Superhombre picked up its story, it’d gone from $8/share 10 years ago to…wait for it…$8! Exactly, Driving Miss Daisy is more action packed and Jessica Tandy is more lively (she’s dead) aka totally unworthy of this 75% spike.

Scalped a quick $100 on NTI, again, the real play was to go long the dip…sooo many profit angles, so much fun for everyone
Trust No Financial Blogger, Message Board Poster, Website Or Service Provider
Lately I’ve been seeing a ton of talking heads, bloggers and message board posters touting their winners and playing down their losers. It seems as though just about everyone is an amazing traders/investor as their skill/ talent is downright amazing!
I call BS.
Very few people in this industry are talented at anything other than lying, manipulating, promoting and cheating. Everything you read—and I do mean everything—is guesswork. Nobody other than Buffett knows for certain that their strategies and theories are correct, but in this game, you gotta appear confident at all times. Every day you have people picking random stocks and making wild economic predictions, always careful to position themselves as experts so as to ensure demand for their services and the income they can must from that delusion.
This is no different than the hardly-human-anymore-scumbags over at EliteTrader who lie, each minute, about their trades and lives as they are the kinds of soulless bastards that represent this joke of an industry. It’s downright detestable for we know 90% of traders lose money and that 70% of professional fund managers fail to beat the indexes each year, so people who spend their time writing and commenting about the market—just about always using some corny alias or afraid to link their Facebook profile—aren’t any better. In fact, since they waste so much research/trading time writing and commenting everywhere, their actual results are probly far worse!
Don’t believe me—good. Learn to distrust everyone and you’ll be better off.
(Of course, I do use my real name, am one of the top ranked on Covestor and detail my losses openly cuz they’re great teaching tools, but I have a different prospective than most. I also am profiting for my openness through my book An American Hedge Fund and instructional DVD PennyStocking)
15 Stocks In Play But Most Of Them Are Useless For Trading
Northern Technologies International Corp (NTI) I successfully scalped this one yesterday for about $400, but its strength shows these short picks can and should also be played from the long side…detailed post coming…but I look to short again, but only if it’s a worthy pattern
MAXLIFE FUND CORP (MXFD) I nailed this one breakout in yesterday’s pre-market post even though I said squeeze to $30 and only was up $5+ to $27ish…my bad…squirm shorties, squirm, especially Goode, that’s what you get for spamming my site and not putting me on your blogroll sucka
CKX Lands Inc (CKX) is another low marketcap pick by Lionmaster along with higher marketcap play IndyMac Bancorp, Inc. (IMB). I’ll probly look to short CKX either today or tomorrow, again, be careful of short squeezes.
Security With Advanced Technology Inc. (SWAT) is only a $6 million company, don’t short $6 million companies. Wait for it to go up more. End of story.
