And the winner is…….the editor of TraineeTrader.com! Congrats man, hope you like it. Everyone else who signed up, don’t worry you can purchase your own HERE!!!

What exactly do I teach, well, nothing short of how to profit by predicting 5-20% moves in stocks that fit my model. Microcrap and smallcrap stocks that is. With COIN tanking 8% today, VLNC surging 8% and my last 4 trades—KBX, GENC, FEED and COINW—all acting predictably, even if I only profited slightly (perfect trading is a myth, but it’s really NOT hard for you to do better than me). I have plenty of excuses for my personal failings—not comfortable, intraday meetings, etc.—none of which matter to you as this data proves my thinking and teaching is correct:

3/20 Shorted COIN $8.78, Covered $8.78 (meeting), 2 hours later $8       9% move

3/19 Bought VLNC $4.12, Sold $4.11 (uncomfortable), 1 day later $4.45       8% move

3/18 Shorted KBX $1.79, Covered $1.71 (uncomfortable), 1 day later $1.50       16% move

3/17 Bought GENC $15.19, Sold $15.35 (uncomfortable), 1 day later $17.50-$18       15% move

3/12 Bought FEED $12.40, Sold $12.50 (uncomfortable), 1 day later $13       5% move

3/7 Shorted COINW $12.35, Covered $11.34 (uncomfortable), 1 day later $6.50       49% move

Now there are a few sales pages with these kinds of trading gains too, buuuuuut none of them detail their picks and plays freely hours and days before the big moves. Nor do they have audited track records. Nor are they willing to answer any and all questions. In short, advantage Sykes. I’m not making this up, it’s ALL real.

Buuuuuuuuut no matter how much money I make myself or, more importantly, others, there’ll always be skeptics, so you cynics out there, right along with my fans and people who have nothing better to do, call in tonight at 5PM EST for a BlogTalkRadio/Zecco Sponsored LIVE chat between myself and The Disciplined Investor himself Andrew Horowitz. Click HERE for details…You’ll be free to ask us any question you want, so bring it!

    Hey Tim,

just ordered your book and can’t wait to get it. Let me ask you, I want to start a LLC and trade through it, is that what you do? How did you set up TIM as your business? I don’t want to take on any investors but just trade for myself with my own money. Could you give any advice on the best way to get started?

    Thanks.

  • timsykes

TIM is not a business, BullShip Press, LLC is the business, set it up through some LLC lawyer, a few hundred bucks

FYI Visa question askers, this was my take yesterday:

  • fc

So do you trade though BullShip Press or is that for everything else you do?

  • timsykes

haha no, my account is in my name. if u don’t want investors u don’t need any LLC or company, just open an individual account

  • Brian D

That Ashley Dupre chick is nice, not only does she give $5000 blowjobs (which I would hope are damn worth the price) but she sponsored the giveaway. What a great gal. I am half tempted to rag up her myspace/facebook and ask her what the next best stock is going to be.

  • Hugh E. Rexson

Congrats to the contest weiner. Hopefully he’ll study hard and learn well, lest he too get screwed by Ashley.

  • Mike

TIM, you can’t go short and then look at the low the next day and say that’s what you coulda woulda shoulda made. And you can’t go long and then look at the high the next day and say that’s what you coulda woulda shoulda made. If the stock has a big range you’ll claim a large amount of potential profits even it’s not random. Your picks here were impressive and clearly not random but you chose a bad way to show the possible gains.

  • timsykes

mike, u misunderstand me, i’m not saying i coulda woulda shoulda, “i” don’t matter. i tried to make as much as i could given my risk tolerance and other commitments. u on the other hand can and should do better. i’m merely pointing out the possibilities here because my P and L does not tell the whole story

  • Max

    ‘if u don

  • http://theproficientinvestor.com James Wilcox

Tim, looks like you are being trackbacked by content scrapers. Posts 2 and 3 are from aggregating websites…dunno if you care or not, just thought I would let you know.

  • http://www.test.timothysykes.com timothysykes

a smarter person would have covered their short and actually bought a decent sized position when covering the short…this thing is greased for a bigtime squeeze like DDRX, gotta be able to flip like that if u wanna be a successful trader

  • nifri

    Sorry, meant covered 1k @ 5 for $90 loss.

  • Scott W

Bought at 5.03 after the alert to cover. Sold at 5.29 for $240 gain.

  • jeg22

  • bill

    $400 loss

  • sonid

Got you alert and went on the Buy side in at 5.12 – looking for high 5′s before selling

  • dark4366

first trade with Timalerts, lost $ 830, short at 4,85 reversed position at 5,50, sold at 4,33…. need to keep my eye on the alerts. Tim, any change for a service to send sms alerts to Europe (Netherlands) would be great.Got a year subscription and the plan was to make some money and buy the complete dvd set to learn. Have to postpone that for a little :) Looking forward to the next one.

  • prognesubis

Got the alert. I did not sell beause my charts said do not sell. I am in long now 350 at $5.20.

  • ub7

By the time I read the alert it was creeping from 4.8 back up to 5 – So I had to take a pass on this one. Seems like shorting in this current environment is risky, 3/4 stocks follow the market..Glad I passed on this opportunity. Don’t sweat it Tim, you can’t be right 100% of the time

  • scotttmd

Made $200 on CIT,lost $380 on USCN, made $200 on DDRX. Drank too much coffee- traded badly- wasted my morning- need to go back to TIM school…:)
