Tags: Blogging, Financial Media Circus

As you can probably see, this website has gone from a sketchy strangely sub-par stock blog to something rather innovative, feature-rich and well, unique. This is just the beginning—check out these new and upcoming projects—get excited!

timometer

You might’ve noticed the addition to this post over the weekend and asked yourself, WTF? Well, in the grand tradition of celebrating after trading gains and punishing yourself after stupid losses, I’m gonna feature products to either reward myself with or to see what I can’t afford anymore. Ideally, site advertisers will start to take a likin’ and we’ll begin giving away the featured products every day!

Tim, you and this site are so pathetic, it is beyond funny. You say you’re a short seller, yet have made no real $$ during the market slide. And don’t say you are up $3000 (big whoop) because anyone with a brain knows the count is useless unless VERIFIED by an outside party. Loooser!

hello idiot, thanks again for exemplifying the Forrest Gump-type IQ level of my haters. i’m up 32% since I started this project in November, how about you? See that little ‘Track My Trades” right over there to the right ———>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>—–>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yah, that’s Covestor, they tap into my brokerage account and import every trade. Everything I do is verified by them just so I can write posts like this, leaving mental midgets like you speechless. And ah yes, there’s the point I mae nearly, every day: I’m not that good, my readers can and have done better. Good day!

You are quite the embarrassment tim boy. The market has plunged 20%, and all you have is $3000 to show for it?! LMAO. BTW– I DO NOT believe your numbers on this site because they are not VERIFIED by an outside party.

Yes, tim boy, you are quite the short seller. That $3000 will pay this months rent. Oops. you made $3000 over a few month period. OUCH

Tim, you are a pathetic joke. Your book flopped, you were embarrassed in the NY post, and now this website. Do yourself a favor and close the site before further embarrassment strikes.

aND tIM BOY, DON’T KNOCK YOUR “HATERS” WITHOUT THEM, THERE WOULD BE zero INTEREST IN YOU.

    1. I don’t get embarassed so you ain’t seen nothin’ yet
    2. Covestor is an outside source, visit their site and do some DD. they’re more reliable than auditors cuz they tap in every day
    3. Actually I’m up $4k, glad to see you can’t do math either!
    4. Money made trading is irrelevant, this is to teach people with little money how I grow it–its for the love of the game.
    5. Give TIM some time, in a few years, it’ll suit your wall street snobbery. for now, you’ll just have to settle with my readers making the big bucks. one guy is now up $23k in 2 days
    6. rent is negligible, you forget I’m only 30% off my highs.
7 goodbye, you waste my time

PS 5k in books sales in 5 months, hardly a flop, just 2k more to being a bestseller!

And getting trashed by the new york post was fun, them calling me a hedge fund king shows just how screwed up and misunderstood this pathetic excuse for an industry is

    Dearest Eliot,

You’re the joke. Open up a covestor account, be Tim-like transparent, and maybe someone will take you seriously. Again- COVESTOR- put up or shut up.

    March 10th, 2008 at 9:20 pm

God I love that 7K is a best seller, I guess that’s why JKR is a billionaire, I can see how selling books would make more than any market. LOL

  9. 9PA

    March 10th, 2008 at 9:51 pm

Evan - what’s the point of being Tim-like transparent when you have nothing to show?

    March 10th, 2008 at 10:20 pm

Holy fuck, that is awesome. The Timometer. That is fucking brilliant. Forget the Nokia tablet, another $1500 and you can go blow it bangin’ some of Eliot Spitzer’s hookers.

Tim, you probably don’t need me to tell you that your the fucking man. I highly look up to you and anticipate every post of your blog. Everything you do is great. Your like a Jim Cramer, for day traders. I’m saving up for the dvd/book autograph set and am hoping to get it within the next couple months. Let the haters keep hatin while the players keep playin.
    And Thanks again,
    Ryan

Now I have been following this blog for about a good month and a half and have learned quite a lot from “pennystocking” in these crappy market conditions we are in. What I can’t seem to comprehend is the purpose of Haters putting this blog down and attacking Tim. If guys like Eliot Trader really think Tim is a failure, why not wait and see him lose money with TIM as well as wait for his readers to bitch about how following Tim’s strategies have made them lose lots of money and all that hoopla. Then I can see hating be somewhat justified. Until then, hate on something else like the Feds or whatever. The fact of the matter is TIM is up 4k with its limited capital and if haters actually read through the blog, they can see that the man is pretty picky and conservative with the trades he makes. Sure his timing may be off which causes him to take less profit than he could, but he admits it over and over again!

Bottomline is that TIM is up, I don’t really see anyone bitching about how they lost money cause of Tim’s strategies, I see some people talk about how they made some good money (whether it be little bit or a huge amount), and despite all the other projects Tim has going on, he still does his best to address the guys who follow his blog day in and day out. I’m not trying to nutswing or anything, I’m just calling it like I see it. Me personally, I’m a believer in value stocks, options, and forex; but Tim has definitely made me a believer in pennystocks.

Keep doing what you’re doing Tim and prove em wrong. You are doing a hell of a job with this blog and the book was excellent. I’m definitely looking forward to the next one…

    Elliot:

I want to apologize for all the bullies who took your lunch money and those lonely nights you spent at home in front of the TV during your formative years. I am sure your day in the sun is coming. Until then please learn how to read and spell and remember punctuation does matter. You pathetic little man. Get a life or make your mommy truly happy and get a date.

  27. 27timsykes

    March 11th, 2008 at 11:53 am

vlnc has some really good news and its too quick for a double top, i’d like to buy on any breakout!

    March 11th, 2008 at 12:05 pm

When will the new line of TIMSneakers come out and the new TIMGolf 09? That STEN trade (both sides) has me up 16% on my total account. Other trades are slower reacting and not as profitable as this chart but money is money. I still don’t understand why you do not hold these positions for very long they always react the same way. I know morning spikes are a fear, but add to it! No guts no glory right?

  29. 29Joe

    March 11th, 2008 at 12:49 pm

What should we be looking for in determining a possible breakout for VLNC. Ivestors who use “chart astrology” might say this is starting to look like a “cup and handle”. http://www.investopedia.com/te.....handle.asp

  30. 30timsykes

    March 11th, 2008 at 1:54 pm

i don’t look for possible breakouts, i look for breakouts. wait til a break of the previous high happens, ideally into the close or at the open and buy. sometimes u get a fakeout breakout but the odds are on your side

  31. 31COINZMASTER

    March 11th, 2008 at 3:24 pm

  32. 32timsykes

    March 11th, 2008 at 3:35 pm

coin-z-master-bater, do u see me recommending a short of COIN? no, i dont short after the bubble pops, that is until volume and volatility subsides and u experience the inevitable drift down to single digits

  33. 33Tony Ellis

    March 11th, 2008 at 5:15 pm

Hope none of TIM’s readers were long EFUT into earnings! That would hurt.
