TimothySykes.com Will Become The World’s Top Stock Blog In 2008

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Sun 23rd of Dec, 2007 12:41:03 PM

‘Tis the season to spend time with friends and family. Maybe take some time off to reflect and rest. Two of the world’s greatest stock bloggers, The Kirk Report and

have noted they will do just that.

I have no intention of spending anymore time with my friends and family than I have to and I certainly will not take any time off. The new and improved TimothySykes.com goes live in less than a month. The stock market will remain open. There are still lessons to teach and to learn. There might be some worthy trading opportunities. This is how you get ahead. You work harder than everyone else. When you become a pseudo-celebrity, author a book, close your hedge fund and realize what your destiny is all in the same year, you’ve done enough reflecting. And, no, I will not rest. I’ll rest when I’m dead.

Right now, I’m on a mission. Not only to repeat my original feat, prove the validity of my strategy and cut through all the industry Bullship, but to open this game up to everyone. And, to make finance fun. To make it entertaining. To get people to love this game. As I do. To show the stock market is predictable. At specific times. To get young people involved. To change people’s perception that this is all about earnings, possessions and greed. To change the way the financial media preys on people’s naivety. To get them to be less superficial. To become Cramer 2.0. To annihilate the random stock picking, economic guessing game Bullship. To make people want to learn instead of relying on others. To get them to never trust any corporate management. To understand that hype and manipulation create opportunities. To cut their losses quicker. To not be afraid of failure and mistakes. To care more about learning rather than profits. To value the journey. The ups and the downs. To never use leverage. To realize that honor and honesty is the way to go.

So, yeah I have a lot to do. Friends and family understand. Soon everyone will understand. I promise to answer every email, question, comment. Never taking a day off. Never calling in sick. Never giving into the industry BullShip, even if it’d probably be more profitable to do so. I promise, you’ve never seen anyone with this much determination. That’s why I know I’ll succeed.

Cut through the BullShip or die tryin’.

This is why one year from now, I will have left Captain Kirk and the Lindzon in the dust. They simply don’t want it as badly as me. They live happy healthy lives with their families and investments. I don’t. My life is my work and it will continue to be so because there’s a lot to do. It won’t be easy. I don’t know how long it’ll take for my words to get through, but I won’t stop until I succeed. I will do what I must. The power of somebody on a mission. Think Willie Stark before he was corrupted. It’s a great feeling. Advantage Sykes. See you tomorrow. And every day afterwards. Until the end of time.
