TIM $14,078 (up $105 on the day, up $1,663 or 13.40% in 8 days)

I awoke to see futures higher and all the highfliers that had gotten crushed yesterday up nicely in pre-market action. I immediately sold my 100 shares of JRJC at $26.10 for a lucky $60 profit (after commissions). As usual, I was too early in my exit as the stock surged another 70 cents within a few m

inutes; no matter, I was very fortunate to get this bounce as it was stupid of me to enter into this one in the first place. Sure, the stock might continue bouncing, but the overall chart is broken so it’s very dangerous to be long here.

I’m not taking any more positions today and am 100% in cash as I’ll be travelling all day. Yes, it’s okay to take a day off, besides showing how much work it is to turn thousands into millions, I’m gonna show you that you don’t have to trade every single day. And to answer a ton of emails I’ve gotten in the past day–avoid ETFC!! It’s a complete guessing game.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve gotten more than a few emails telling me I need to structure my blog posts a certain way to conform to accepted industry standards–that way other financial websites will be more likely to feature them. I appreciate the advice, but to them I say screw you! Who cares what the rest of the finance world thinks–I think the system is incredibly messed up so why would I want to conform to it? Helllllo, I named my publishing company BullShip Press to cut through all the BS, not to add to it! I’m not always gonna go into long winded fundamental analysis because I don’t think that crap matters with some of the stocks I play. And, no links to inappropriate content –WTF?!?! To the vast majority of people out there, finance is boring–I’m gonna show them how fun it can be!

Guys, let me make one thing very clear here–for better or worse, I’ve always done things my way–I ain’t gonna change for nobody. This is my website and I’ll put whatever I feel like it on here.

Alright, I’m calm now, check out my latest feature:

  • steadiedpanic
dammit i was @ work... looks to be a good one guys. hope to see more in play like this later. good luck to all that got, in im sure you will do well... nice call timay
  • Ross
    Got 200 shares of Noble @ 5.26

    Now @ 5.60 after hours
  • guitarguy
i didnt get it either... well where i normally look, or in the case today, why phone didnt even make a sound saying i got an email, as it WENT TO SPAM, great, 30$ a month, and no prewarning to put timsykes@gmail.com in my safe folder, fucking fantastic
  • u got me, i singled u guys out and said, u know hat, gil and tony, i dont like your names, you're not gonna get an alert today. shit, didnt think u guys would notice
  • gil
    i am sure i didn't get it
i dont have it anywhere in my email
  • TonyEllis
    I didn't get email either
  • TonyEllis
Tim NOBL is trading at $3 AH....lol
  • gil, you're on the list, check your spam mail, thats why i post it on the site too
  • gil
Hi i didnt get an email for the alert ,,
    why???
    am I the only one?
  • YoungGunz
I'll be happy if it gets to the low $6 range.
  • PCola
I need $5.58 to get $1000 profit after commission. Seems likely based on the close. As I mentioned on another of your threads, I hadn't traded a TimAlert in almost a month (7/11 IDAE was the last one). If I cash out $1000 on this one I will have made $2500 on your plays, and just under $5,000 on my own plays. Not bad considering I opened the account on 6/12 with an even $25,000. That would be 30% in under two months, and includes a $5,000 loss on one trade (don't ask...).
  • nice PC, so you're up a cool $700 or 2x TIMalert annual membership...very nice, i wanna see u voer $1k in profits by tomorrow morn!
  • PCola
Tim, I got 1983 shares of a 3,000 share order filled at 5.07 before it moved up. Didn't chase for the rest of the fill.
  • PCola
AH bid is 5.34 and ask is 5.70, so teh last price is irrelevant. if you really wanted to get out now you would get 5.34 and if you wanted in you'd pay 5.70, not 3.40, so don't worry about it.
  • TomT
exactly. wassup with that order @ 3.40????? I want in at 3.40 too
  • its not down, its alate print, only afterhours trade has been at 5.49, only focus on bid /ask
  • evanmost
question...what is the deal with the after hours trading price on google? They have NOBL as down 2.00 (-37.04%). What is that number based on?
  • YoungGunz
Nothing wrong with small. A lot of potential for a decent profit and as long as you're at the helm tomorrow the downside can be kept really small.
  • TheParadox
evan - something is better than nothing, i'm not playing with it, but i wish i had.
  • evanmost
This is my first day of trading along w/ you guys. I went small... 125 shares at 5.05
  • Wes
NOBL -- what is the 50k @ $3.40 in afterhours??
  • TheParadox
damn, i missed the alert, should i put a limit to buy in extended hours?
  • TomT
    damn.. didn't pull the trigger @ 5.18-.19...

    oh well.. not chasing now.
  • pains me to go long too, but thats how to play big earnings plays
  • astaluss1
    in 1000 shares at 5.06

    good call
  • Reaper
Well, looks like my strategy was wrong ... but that's okay. I've always been even more of a short seller than Timmay. It pains me to go long.
  • very very nice close, i fully expect a morning spike as early shorts who dont understand the difference between earnings movers vs. pump and dumps suffer the consequences of their ignorance
  • bigjimstradingpost
    ZOLT -- B O U N C E!!!
  • bigjimstradingpost
    OK,
Down a dime on my paper trade short against the TimTide of NOBL at $5.28. Doubling my short now at $5.38 making my cost average $5.33
  • patelt78
Got 400 shares of NOBL at 5.10. It's nice to not use up a daytrade for this!
  • kusumo
Did the same as Reaper. Got in and out for a $196 profit.
  • MikeY
Bought 350 more of NOBL at 5.22851
  • YoungGunz
If I would have saw it earlier I may have bought more then the 100 shares :). since I was late seeing the alert i didn't want to jump in with too much
  • bigjimstradingpost
Lunch Money Reaper...you can't beat that..
  • lamecoder
im in at 5.3, tim says its strong so we'll see
  • MikeY
Out of GTE after a $1.6 loss after commissions. (Shorted at $5.156, covered at 5.13)
  • YoungGunz
crap looked away and came in 10 mins late. bought at 5.27...Hope that doesn't turn outto be foolish.
  • Reaper
    Still logged $143 in profits.
  • bigjimstradingpost
OK, I'm gonna pretend I went against the TimTide and shorted NOBL at $5.28...
    Paper trade only...
Probably lose my ass..but what the hell...there always has to be one.
  • Reaper
    GL to everyone else, though.
  • Reaper
Meh, I don't like this. I just rode it for the 18 cent Timmay spike.
  • looking strong, i'm listening to conference call right now,
  • MikeY
Wondering if I should place another order.... now at $5.20 ish... hmmm
  • MikeY
I only got 300 shares executed at $5.08 (Had a bigger order but not all of it went through)
  • notesguy88
Man, by the time I got to order it, I got it at 5.10.
