I’m off to LA tomorrow morning for some very interesting meetings over the next two days…we’ll see how they go. Last time I was supposed to be there for two days, I met some some beautiful models, extended my trip to seven days and blew $5,000. I had a sweet suite at The Beverly Hills Hotel and one drunken highlight was me high-fiving Andy Rooney (who was my neighbor) as my models and I were heading out to the clubs and he was going to bed (seriously–

wish I’d gotten a picture).

So, I highly doubt I’ll be trading tomorrow as there aren’t any worthy opportunities anyway.

In the meantime, check out the new charts section on my website–so far they’re just the charts from the trades in my book, but it’s gonna ramp up over time, just like my website, so stay tuned!

    Hmmm … I didn’t get the morning alert via e-mail and this time I also checked the spam folder. I did get all the APII alerts yesterday afternoon though so this is strange.

    I kept my CHC reservation from yesterday and I guess I’ll hold it for a bit longer. Like Kusumo said, no VRAZ available at TOS. I don’t think they’ve had any available since I got the same response when I tried yesterday.

    Gunz, i know the feeling, im still in at 3.20, hoping there will be a sell off in the morning, but its looksing kinda bleak so far… might need to take a loss on it.

    Just came back to the computer and was happy to find that my premarket cover for APII got filled at $3.35. Actually made a slight profit.

    Out QTWW, -282 loss. That’ll teach me to stay with plays where there is more downside.

    i had a 176 loss on APII, got in too late… need to be picky on enter prices. Dodged the squeeze this morning and caught the bottom, i even made a candle.

    There are still a lot of sellers on APII at 3.50ish, there was about 15k this morning and there are another 7k now… 3.50 is a nice resistance.

    no klevin, technical analysis means little with earnings in the next day–forget about trying to short for 30-50 cents/share when good earnings and/or some kind of acquition news oculd squeeze the shorts $1+…poor risk/reward

    So if CBOU is pulling a stair step its probably not going to be shortable until tomorrow or more likely Friday if it sticks to the trend.

    Just got out of APII at 3.48. Went long yesterday at $3.29. Made about $750. felt bad rooting against some of you that held shorts, and got out ahead of the wall at $3.50. Hope it crashes back down for you guys.

    What made you decided to go long on APII, because it didn’t crash below 3.15ish so you figured it would rebound?

    They have decent coffee and a decent alternative to starbucks. However if starbucks is worried about battling with McDonalds in the coffee wars they’re being effected as well. Kinda like Wal-Mart getting into the flatscreen TV industry and driving down profit margins and prices. anyways this doesn’t concern pennystocking.

    I have to sign the official paperwork at the end of this week. Needless to say, my productivity at work since they announced this has been horrendous, as I’m trying to find as many tardes as possible these last few days…

    I was actually thinking about going long when I saw it at like $3.14 yesterday, figuring Tim would be covering any minute. I saw a large spread and a more illiquid stock that he normally plays, so I expected it to bounce when he covered and alerted, as opposed to it continuing downward. I ended up deciding to wait until his alert, and then went long when I got it.

    Oh and Tim, I can’t help it, I do hate to see others lose money. It’s one thing if someone loses a few bucks here and there and learns from it, but I’ve seen too many people lose huge sums of money that dramatically impacts their entire life. Yes, we all know you SHOULDN’T trade with money you can’t afford to lose, but to expect that to be true is naive. And besides the more people lose money and get discouraged, the less traders there are out tehre. And we woudl all benefit from having more good traders in the markets.

    didn’t post my short entry..asked tim thoughts on it and didn’t get response..then just pulled the trigger near end of day. according to him, it was a bad entry..but worked out.

    i’m on covestor, not that trying to prove anything. i’ve made lots of bad calls too if look at my history.

    awesome das! and BTB, get on covestor, u could care less now, but when they offer u the ability to make $ off others following u on your trades, u might think differently…after all, i made $3k trading profits and $10k+ off subscribers and its just the first few months

    tim..i guess i just got lucky. when i shorted, it had been fading and went down to 3 and then bounced to close high. according to you, was a bad call to short yesterday, right? i guess i’m glad you did’t respond to my question on your thoughts of it yesterday.

    2.75 is not specific support to the penny.

    there is potential support from 2.5 to 3 really from May and June

    It’s in that range now.

    I covered at 2.80. Made back what I lost on the APII short yesterday. 50-50 shot up or down here.

    You are still wrong. 2.8 is a more accurate support number.

    Tim’s argument is that the 2.75 prior resistance is now a support, something that i overlooked, i see that now… looks like i jumped the gun a little too quick. I saw the plunge @ 10:52 and figured it would nose dive. Prior resistance points usually become supports. But i’m green on the screen still with 100, another 75 or 5 cents (unlikely now) and i’ll cover my APII loss.

    bid/ask on 2.75/2.79 is sitting right at the support…

    VRAZ and CBOU both $.10 scalps so far. not for me, I am trying to be patient for true DVD type plays

    yeah and caribou coffee is a real company in my eyes. looks like its holding 2.88 and theres more resistance at 2.50s if it breaks that.

    APII just released an update that they are going to acquire a company and that they are going to pay with 500 000 shares. Doesn’t that mean that the price should be hugely diluted? considering there 5.44 M shares flotation, 500 000 shares issued means a dilution of around 10%. Hope this drop in the bucket scares “investors” away from this sleepy company.
