I know this may be off topic but would anyone mind to lend their opinion: Im still short on SMSI, 590 shares @ 6.30 average. It closed down 3.26% @ 6.53 andAfter Hours: 6.41 -0.12 (-1.81%). Obviously I have it for the weekend, but should I not take any further losses and go ahead and get out or not? Tim seems to have thought that this company should go right back to a down slope as it has for months (sorry if i completely misunderstood you).

P.S. for a question like this where would you have liked me to post (Ive posted in forums but it feels like stocks mentioned more than a week ago in alerts are dead/not discussed anymore)?

Tim, I was watching a re-run of Livestock when someone asked 'what's the minimum account size you would suggest?' Interesting that you said '...a few hundred dollars isn't going to go anywhere' and '...$3500 is my suggestion' (paraphrasing). Do you recall a banter we had a while back about account sizes and I thought one guy that was out there with only a $1000 was stupid for not saving more? I just thought I would ask what changed your mind about having a certain amount to start with? Because I remember someone being very adamant about any amount being fine.

Oh and by the way, did your chickie ever find a roomate. I know a guy who may be looking for a roomate, his name is A-Rod. :P He can probably pay her half of the rent too...

Tom, think of it this way, if you had doubled down at 2.31 your average would be about 2.36, which is basically breakeven at this point. Would it be worth risking twice as much as you were comfortable riskign in the first place, just to basically eliminate what is currently a $60 loss? Averaging down when it's only dropped 4% from your buy is a surefire way to get in a hole quickly if you do it often. Imagine if you averaged down and then it dropped to $2 and you had no money left to average down again. You'd be pretty uspet. But if it gets to $2 and you average down for the first time then, your average is down to 2.20.
